In addition to fashion, Marlene Raymakers offers artworks (originals and prints). Here’s how we ensure quality, authenticity, and secure delivery.
1. Quality of Art Prints
We produce prints on premium FineArt paper (acid-free, museum-quality). Each print is checked by the artist personally for color fidelity and detail. Limited editions often come with low print runs or even as single pieces.
2. Certificate of Authenticity
Every original or limited print includes a Certificate of Authenticity (CoA) confirming:
- Title of the piece (if any)
- Artist name (Marlene Raymakers)
- Year of creation or print
- Edition (e.g., “1/10”) or note “Original” for unique works
- Technique/material (e.g., digital print on Hahnemühle paper)
- Hand-signed or facsimile signature
Keep this certificate safely. It verifies your artwork’s origin and uniqueness.
3. Secure Packaging & Shipping
We pack artworks carefully:
- Unframed prints: sturdy tubes or flat cardboard, protective layers.
- Framed pieces / canvases: bubble wrap, corner guards, custom-fit boxes, labeled “Fragile.”
- We insure shipments with DHL. Rarely any damage occurs, but if it does, inform us within 48 hours with photos so we can replace or refund if needed.
Art prints may be produced on demand, adding a few days before shipping. For tight deadlines, let us know; we can sometimes arrange expedited printing/shipping.
4. Unpacking & Care
When you receive your artwork:
- Open the package gently.
- For rolled prints, unroll them carefully on a clean surface and let them flatten.
- Avoid placing objects directly on the print to prevent marks.
- Store the CoA in a safe spot.
We generally ship prints unframed unless stated otherwise. If you need framing advice, we’ll help. In some regions (e.g., Berlin), we might offer local pickup or special framing options upon request.
5. Customer Support for Art
We’re happy to answer questions about any artwork (color details, display ideas, the story behind the piece). If an edition sells out, we may produce a subsequent edition if demand is high.
For special commissioned art, contact us to discuss your vision—Marlene often creates one-of-a-kind projects merging fashion and art. Our priority is to ensure you receive a high-quality, authentic piece you’ll treasure.
