A Dream Realized
On September 9, 2022, I presented my collection High Expectations as part of the 4th semester show Rough Cut at Platte Berlin. The raw and authentic atmosphere of this venue gave our show a unique energy and amplified the message behind my designs.
The collection was created in the Identity course, led by Anke Schlöder, where we not only learned about fashion but also engaged in deep self-reflection. Through this process, I realized how much high expectations—both my own and those imposed by others—shape me. The tension between restriction and liberation became the heart of my collection.
A special thanks goes to my models, Lilo Gruner and Julia Rothe, who embodied my vision so perfectly, as well as my fellow students, Anke Schlöder, and the talented artists at HUM, all of whom helped bring this show to life.
Even now, I am still overwhelmed by the emotions of that evening—it was an unforgettable milestone in my journey as a designer. This experience has shown me what’s possible when you truly believe in yourself. I can’t wait to see where this path will take me next.
